• Pop Void - So when copied, faxed, or scanned “UNAUTHORIZED COPY” appears on the document

• Micro Line - Printed at the bottom that is in very small font that says “Certified Security Paper”

  • When copied the font will merge into a line that requires A strong magnifying glass to read the Micro Line

• Erasure Resistant Blue Background - The entire background is blue, so when color copied (which may effect the Pop Void) you will see a white border around the sheet of paper

What’s the story on our Certified Security Paper?

Our original County faced an issue involving a father who illicitly modified his Divorce Decree, falsely claiming custody of a child contrary to the original certified decree. He manipulated the document and presented it to the school authorities and was able to leave with the child. Several years ago, in response to this incident, collaborative efforts with the Scott-Merriman Inc, and the County's District Clerk were initiated to devise a solution. A specialized Certified Security Paper was established and implemented for Certified documents such as Divorce Decrees and Protective Orders to safeguard against potential misuse by individuals with nefarious motives. This County has educated their schools, sheriff department and all law enforcement to let them know if a document isn't on Certified Security Paper, it's not authentic! Currently, we have County Clerks using it as well for Probate forms like Letters Testamentary and other uses that they do not want copied.
